Statement on Budget 2019-20
The Australian Government has handed down the 2019-20 Budget.
Geoscience Australia's budget information is published in the Industry, Innovation and Science .
Across the portfolio, the 2019-20 Budget includes funding for Australia’s space sector and also a package to build a stronger Australian workforce with more science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills. 女女视频welcomes these announcements as they will aid the development of Australian satellite technology and also boost the participation of women and girls in STEM.
We also welcome the Government’s commitment to a pilot project to demonstrate the benefits of establishing a national climate and disaster risk information capability for Australia. 女女视频will be working with the Department of Home Affairs to deliver this project.
