Delivery, awareness raising and engagement will support stakeholders to realise the benefits of precompetitive geoscience data and information. We will foster collaborative relationships and deliver data, information, and tools to support improved decision-making by government, industry, and communities.

Outreach

We will raise awareness of precompetitive geoscience through communication and outreach, building trust and understanding with communities.

First Nations partnerships

We will build strong, lasting relationships with First Nations peoples to create collaborative opportunities and support their self-determination.

Informing decisions

We will continue to engage with government, industry, communities and academia to increase the use of precompetitive geoscience.

Data delivery

We will deliver trusted data, information and decision-support tools and capabilities for data-driven decision making.

Resource Insights

The Resource Insights project will deliver tools and information that gives ŮŮÊÓƵthe capability to:

• Provide advice on the economic viability of resource development projects and their environmental, social and governance considerations.
• Improve the investment attractiveness of Australian resource development opportunities.
• Enable a greater range of audiences, including First Nations, government and community stakeholders to access and use regional information about resources in their decision-making.

This project will apply techno-economics and human-centered design to generate insights to support ease of access processes for information produced under the initiative. It will support relevant and impactful decision-making, provide strategic prioritisation for our science and data products, and integrate broadly across the initiative to affect the greatest impact for our work.

Digital Delivery project

The Data Delivery project aims to enhance capabilities by optimising systems and providing a secure, interactive, and positive user experiences for discovering, accessing, and analysing precompetitive geoscience data and information. This includes the management and delivery of datasets, science products, innovative tools, capabilities, and services to better enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and achieve strategic goals.

Through the ŮŮÊÓƵRepository and laboratories we will utilise modern capabilities underpinned by existing legacy data to continue to provide quality assurance and appropriate data management to ensure our end users can access the highest quality data. This work will support the Australian government in meeting its goals to increase evidence-based decision making and achieve greater economic benefit from public and private sector data, thereby contributing to a more sustainable, prosperous and well-informed Australia.
